Hungarian choreographer Beatrix Simkó from Budapest will focus on the socio-political tension between the individual and the group in her research "The Whole is more than the Sum of its Parts" and explore how this duality manifests itself in the body and is negotiated in physical interactions.

To this end, she will also be inviting local school groups aged between 14 and 18 to participate on site at Wuppertal's Barmer Bahnhof dance station, in order to incorporate a young audience's understanding of life and mechanisms, as well as group mechanisms and democratic values into the research process.
