Reut Shemesh: ‘ELECTRAS’ (premiere at tanzhaus nrw) and networking with the dance scene in North Rhine-Westphalia

From 19th to 22nd November, Ayala Frenkel, artistic director of the Kelim Choreography Centre in Israel, travelled to North Rhine-Westphalia for the premiere of Reut Shemesh's ‘ELECTRAS’. The aim of the visit was to deepen the exchange between her and Reut Shemesh with a view to future collaborations and to encourage networking with the scene in North Rhine-Westphalia. During her stay, Ayala Frenkel visited, for example, the collaborative conception and work space ‘Freiraum’ of the Ben J. Riepe Company in Düsseldorf and met with the dramaturgy and artistic direction of tanzhaus' nrw. There was also a discussion with the artistic direction of the FAVORITEN Festival and with the dramaturgy of TanzFaktur in Cologne.
