Captured – International photo scene Cologne and beyond

In September 2018, seven curators, festival and programme directors from Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Israel, Romania and the Netherlands travelled to North Rhine-Westphalia for the International Photoscene Festival in Cologne.

During the festival, the international guests not only visited numerous exhibitions in museums, galleries and off-spaces in Cologne, but also had the opportunity to get to know other institutions and meet the respective directors or curators, including the Museum für Angewandte Kunst Köln (MAKK), the Museum Ludwig, the Rheinisches Bildarchiv, the Kölner Stadtmuseum, the Photographische Sammlung of the SK Stiftung Kultur and the Forum für Fotografie.

Talks with artists and experts in the festival's accompanying programme as well as a visit to the Kunstmuseum in Bonn rounded off the guests' programme.
