In her research "Everything is Movement for me", Jodie Judy Lu YingChu will focus on interdisciplinary dance, the history of coal mining in Essen and climate issues in the region.

In her research work, she combines large-format charcoal and pastel drawings, with which she interacts choreographically and through dance, thus continuing earlier research approaches to kinaesthetic dance and drawing.
