Biography
From 2007 to 2013, Haiko Pfost (*1972) co-directed the international co-production house brut Wien with Thomas Frank, which under their aegis underwent a repositioning as an international hub of the performance scene.
At the same time, he worked as a programme dramaturge for the International Schillertage, Mannheim and as a member of the programme jury of the Politik im Freien Theater festival in Dresden. Prior to this, after assisting and working as a dramaturge at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and at the Theaterformen festival in Braunschweig and Hanover, Pfost curated and directed the opening event of the Volkspalast project, the cultural interim use of the Palast der Republik in Berlin. From 2005 to 2006 followed engagements as programme and project dramaturge at the festival steirischer herbst, Graz.
Since 2014, Pfost has worked as a freelance curator, dramaturge, lecturer and consultant for international production houses and festivals, including LUST Finland, Manifesta 11, Theaterspektakel Zurich, zeitraumexit Mannheim, Schauspiel Leipzig and PAP Berlin.
