an outstanding promotional model for the arrangement of an ambitious literary programme

Work Samples assist schools and organisers of literary events with the arrangement of ambitious literary programmes, and offer considerable financial subsidies for readings, workshops and literary happenings. The current Work Sample programme embraces the entire spectrum of literary production, including – for the first time – lyrics and slam poetry. The interdisciplinary theme of immigrant history also finds expression. Furthermore, the NRW Kultur sekretariat is intensely involved in the development of more unusual literary formats, such as mobiLES, whereby well-known authors read current works of prose in travelling buses and trains, to the great enjoyment of the audience.
