The Bayrischer Rundfunk BR (public TV and radio station) iniciated this new competion dedicated to media of communication that usually disappear behind of what they express: music, sounds, pictures. «Techno fossil» is concentrated on artfacts that are not created by the artist but by the machine itself. The french artist, Elsa Tomkowiak, is participant of this year’s first art-festival «Imaginez maintenant» (1st-4th of July 2010) in Amiens. Her new installation «structure flottante» – «floating sculpture» is flexible and moves day by day to a different place of the hortillonages – beautiful floating gardens in the Picardy region of France.

«Sommerfrische» // «summer breeze» is the title of a new project showing artistic interventions in the outside of Düsseldorf (D).
The artist, Heike Weber, build a snowman (in summer) out of 2,5 tons of artificial snow. Time by time the little 2,80 meter white man began to melt, all what remains after his existence is reminiscence.
