Seniorentheater-Plattform

With the establishment of a regular working group in 2004, the NRW KULTURsekretariat set numerous activities relating to culture and age in motion – thereby contributing in no small measure to a new understanding of this issue and its importance in the region. Since 2007, the Senior Citizens’ Theatre Platform NRW has been presenting the whole gamut of theatrical works by senior citizens in NRW at the Consol Theatre in Gelsenkirchen.
There, up to four outstanding productions a year are performed on stage. In addition, the platform offers regular workshops providing training in practical aspects of the theatre.
