Performance Grant HALBSTARK

At the beginning of November 2010, Münster ran the first production of “Halbstark”, an international theatre festival for children and young people. The joint initiative of the City of Münster and NRW KULTURsekretariat was aimed at the 9 to 13 year olds, children (so called “gap children”) for whom the theatre had little to offer up to this point.

Now, following the festival, through performance support from the culture secretary the five international productions presented can be booked: “Arme og Ben”, Åben Dans (DK) // “Da/Fort”, Circ’ombelico (B) // “Fimosis”, Theater Antigone (B) // “Dick Bos”, Beumer & Drost (NL) // “Help”, Theatergroep MAX. (NL). There is no language barrier. Support for the member cities comes from the Kultursekretariat in conjunction with the Netherlands Consulate General.
